Henning started his professional career as a department manager at a large Canadian retail store. After five years in Canada, he moved back to his home country Germany where he completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in digital logistics and management. His interest and passion for the maritime industry started developing while working as a port and logistics Consultant in Lübeck. To gain deeper operative insights, he joined Oldendorff Carriers as a Marine Purchaser in 2019. He thrives in this fast-paced and challenging, but rewarding work environment and is the designated Key User for the procurement department’s fleet management system.
